Little Blue consists of two adjoining buildings at the corner of Haywood and Lenoir Streets, directly across from Ligon Middle School in Southeast Raleigh. Historic maps and photographs indicate that the Lenoir St. building was standing as early as 1914, during the development of the Chavis Heights neighborhood. Over the years, it has served as a neighborhood grocery and corner store and, more recently, has housed a variety of retail and restaurant uses.
The project is currently in development.
